1. Accepting these terms

Installing or using PayNote means you accept what follows. If there is something here you do not accept, please do not use the app.

2. What you may do with the app

Z-SOFT CO., LTD gives you the right to use PayNote for your own personal use. That right is yours and cannot be passed to someone else.

You may not resell the app or the PRO plan, and you may not take the app apart or modify it beyond what the law allows.

3. PayNote is not a financial service

PayNote is a record book, nothing more. It does not hold your money, does not move money, and is not a wallet, a payment intermediary or a bank.

The transfer is carried out by your own banking app, under that bank's terms. PayNote does three things: it reads the QR code, it opens your banking app for you, and it writes the expense down.

4. You check before you tap send

PayNote shows exactly what it read from the QR code you scanned. It has no way to know whether that code was pasted over another one, forged, or points at someone else's account.

Before you tap send in your banking app, read the payee name, the account number and the amount for yourself. That is the last step, and only you can take it. Z-SOFT is not liable if money goes to the wrong place.

5. An entry is not a receipt

Every line in PayNote is your own note, confirmed by you. It is not a receipt, not an accounting document, and it cannot prove that a transaction succeeded. That proof is in your bank statement.

6. The PRO plan

PayNote PRO is paid once and yours for good. Not a subscription, nothing auto-renews, nothing is charged again later. If the price rises afterwards, everyone who already bought keeps what they have.

A 7-day trial is included, with no card required.

Note: buying on Google Play and buying on the App Store are two separate purchases. No account joins the two stores, so PRO bought on Android does not work on an iPhone, or the other way round.

7. Refunds

Your payment goes through Google Play or the App Store, not through us. So refunds follow the policy of the store you bought from, and a refund request goes to that store.

We never receive your payment details and cannot issue a refund ourselves. If the store declines and you do not think that is right, please contact us and we will help you take it up with Apple or Google.

8. Your data and backups

All of your data is on your phone, with no copy on a server. That is the good part — nobody can read your book behind your back — but it has a flip side worth stating plainly.

If you uninstall, change or lose the phone without having exported a backup, the data is gone and nobody can bring it back, including us. Backing up is yours to do; encrypted backup is a PRO feature.

9. The app is provided “as is”

We work to make the app correct, and the most important parts are covered by automated tests. But we do not promise it will never have a defect, will run on every device, or will stay compatible with every banking app forever — which banks accept prefilled details is decided by VietQR and by each bank, not by us.

10. Limits of our liability

To the extent the law allows, Z-SOFT is not liable for damage that follows indirectly from using the app. For example: money sent to the wrong account, data lost for want of a backup, or a financial decision made from a figure in the book.

If compensation is owed, it will not exceed what you paid for PRO.

11. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app and revise this page. Significant changes are reflected in the update date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
